Valeria's Biography
Valeria Grunbaum is a 17-year sales and marketing veteran recognized for her exceptional ability to speak with clarity, conviction, insight and dynamism on a full spectrum of topics about achieving success in the global marketplace. Long-standing clients and peers attest to her commitment to effect positive change in the hearts, minds and practices of organizations and individuals.
An internationally renowned trainer and public speaker for more than 12 years, Valeria draws upon applied and successful business know-how that has secured her ‘Top Producer’ status in every industry she has endeavored. Also informing her messages are her personal life experiences and years of consulting to major national and international organizations ranging from international real estate brokerages to the American Chamber of Commerce, from global brands Procter & Gamble, Avon, and DHL to industry giants General Motors and Compaq. Her client roster reads like a veritable ‘Who’s Who’ in corporate leadership.
Valeria is an active lecturer with RAMB, the Realtor® Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches, specializing in sales and marketing strategies, and working with international clientele. She has published articles on sales and marketing strategy and promotions, and has served as a field expert for television, radio and print media. She is a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and has her Transnational Referral Certification (TRC). After spending more than 10 years selling real estate primarily to international customers, she wrote her first book, Success with International Customers; A Complete Guide for Real Estate Agents. She has been a Realtor® for more than six years.
The keynote speaker and lead presenter in numerous international conferences, Valeria has been invited to Latin America to lecture to local and international sales agents, has taught and guest lectured at leading universities in Caracas, and has been recognized as one of the Top 50 most successful women in Venezuela, by The Daily Journal.
Valeria’s international experience spans several industries and positions. Prior to launching her consultancy in 1999, Valeria served as Executive Director of the Venezuelan Chamber of Franchises where she advised potential investors on business trends and market feasibility. She served as Marketing Manager for DHL Air Courier in Venezuela, developing and overseeing the implementation of marketing and sales strategies, as well as overseeing promotions, publicity and managing media relations. Valeria acquired previous experience in the hospitality industry while serving as Sales Director for Tamanaco InterContinental Hotel in Venezuela where she managed more than 500 high-end corporate accounts. She has also held sales management positions in publishing and general B2B sales and marketing.
Born in Argentina, raised and educated in Venezuela where she earned a degree in marketing and advertising, Valeria now resides in South Florida. She is fully bi-lingual in both English and Spanish, delivering compelling speeches and seminars in either language to international audiences. She is a graduate of the Speakers Academy, an NLP practitioner, an expert in sales and sales training, and a Senior Leader at Anthony Robbins events. Her understanding of human nature, targeted messages, astute insights, and vast experience in the Latin American market have made her one of today’s most sought-after international speakers.
